Artwork Description

This is basically a product of the artist’s stint in Padre Garcia, Batangas. This painting was actually the first one to be produced in her residency in an isolated farm. According to the artist, she wants to recapture the lost mystery and innocence in that part of herself that has been tossed, unmolded and shaped to fit to corporate and city life. Metaphorically, it starts with a mystical tree, waiting for renewal, like in nature, with the anticipation of spring.
